When you send an enquiry or assessment request, we collect the details you enter, including your name, email, telephone number, property address and characteristics, preferred appointment and message. Required fields let us respond and arrange the requested service. We use these details to take steps you request before a contract and to provide an agreed service. We use limited technical information and security logs to protect the website against misuse, based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
Requests are stored on our hosting account and sent to our bookings mailbox. Our hosting and email providers process information to operate those services. If we arrange an assessment with an independent assessor, we share the information needed for that assessment. We do not automatically broadcast requests to assessors. Online card payments are currently unavailable; this request form does not collect card details. We do not use enquiry details for unsolicited marketing.
We retain information while needed to answer your enquiry, arrange and deliver the service, handle follow-up questions or complaints, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention is determined by whether the request becomes an assessment, whether a complaint or claim remains open, and any legal obligation to keep the record. Contact us if you want an outstanding request withdrawn or your information reviewed for deletion.
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to our use of your information. Contact us using the address above. We may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.
